In the course of business, we ran across ThinLaunch who now has two great software products—Thin Desktop and Thin Browse. Thin Desktop provides IT administrators the ability to lock down a Windows PC or thin client, simplifying the transition to desktop virtualization. Thin Browse is a customizable browser that can also launch local applications.

RTO Software has partnered with ThinLaunch Software, because we feel they have a great offering for organizations moving into the desktop virtualization world. Thin Desktop is a cost-effective way to repurpose your existing hardware and turn it into a thin client. Thin Browse makes users more productive by giving them controlled local application and web access to only what they specifically need to get their job done without using back-end network bandwidth. Used together, the products can give you a thin client hybrid that pushes most processing to the backend but still uses the local processing power to run applications locally when it makes sense.
