With AppSense®, if multiple sessions exist, registry changes MAY be saved from each session, IF the administrator has split up registry hive activity between the respective applications. Otherwise, "last user logoff" wins, and corrupts the registry.

Logon Performance Improvement

RTO Virtual Profiles™ can offer much faster logons, because Virtual Profiles only downloads user data when the user uses it - just in time!

AppSense® offers a small improvement by virtue of user folder re-direction. If you are already using folder re-direction, there is no additional performance benefit.

Virtual Profiles™ will inherently offer more consistent logon time improvement because of the smaller volume of data being moved across your network.

AppSense® user logon times will likewise always be more sensitive to other network traffic because the total quantity of data downloaded at logon time is much higher.
