In addition to the unique performance tuning for Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 the RTO Optimization Console gives you, it can also be used to install RTO optimization agents on multiple servers from a single console, for immediate deployment, or on a scheduled basis. No agent is required for Citrix Presentation Server 4.0. Change a setting in one place and apply it across the server farm with a single 'click'. The Optimization Console's role-based security lets you determine exactly who can install, monitor or change optimization settings.

More Control
You can control optimizations at the DLL, application, group or farm levels, enabling you to optimize more applications, and control optimizations at a more granular level.

Consistent Deployment
Server groups and policies give you the ability to manage similar servers in a consistent manner. Your settings for Memory Optimization Management are managed consistently for all servers in a group of Citrix Presentation Servers. Each server group can have different policies and settings. Likewise, your TScale Advanced settings for performance optimization can be managed consistently for all servers in a group.

Policy-based Management
You can set up profiles or policies that can be applied globally across the entire server farm, to groups of servers, or to selected servers, further simplifying management. Policies can be locked to override changes made later to an individual server. An role-based security lets you specify which administrators can view or control optimization settings.

Improved Efficiency
The RTO Optimization Console dramatically improves planning and troubleshooting, changing a manual process requiring hours of your time to an automated process that takes minutes. For example, you can disable optimization at the component, application, server or farm level in a matter of seconds.
